Oberon Court
Oberon Court is a Residential Development of 69 Apartments and 2 Basement Levels of Private Garages. The project involved the design of a schemed road within the site to provide more apartments, given the depth of the site. This allowed for an increased number of units as well as a better square layout for all apartments.

introdution
The project dealt with a deep site that, under conventional development, would have produced narrow rectangular “coffin” plots, similar to countless others in the area. Instead, a Planning Control application was introduced, rethinking the layout to create a more engaging and liveable scheme.
design philosophy
The revised design introduced a semi-private pedestrianised zone at the heart of the development. This space not only provides residents with a calmer, more enjoyable environment but also encourages community interaction, distinguishing the project from standard residential schemes.
design philosophy
The project was commissioned with a value of €3,000,000, reflecting both the scale of the intervention and its ambition to elevate typical housing typologies into more thoughtfully designed and community-oriented spaces.
By reconfiguring the site, squarer units were achieved, offering better spatial quality and natural light. The architectural language employed stark materials and bold colours, lending the project a distinctive identity while maintaining functionality and simplicity.
